FLEXIBLE WORK SHIFTS
FULL TIME: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Two Shifts to choose from: 6:00—2:30 pm or 2:30 - 11:00 pm
PART-TIME: Variety of times, minimum preferred—4 hours/day.
PARENT SHIFT: Monday –Friday 9:00 —2:30 pm (must have child in school)
STUDENTS: Career High/Innisfail High School—outreach programs. Work for credits.
SUMMER : June/July/August A variety of hours every year.
CHRISTMAS SEASON—Begins August 01/07 and runs until January 31/07—Choose part-time or full time (see above)
SATURDAY SHIFT: Begins mid August and runs until December/January.
Packaging Room
· General duties include placing pastry items into desired packaging trays, metal detection operation, palleting product, recording information, labeling, and prep work with cases/packaging and inventory.
· Freezer/cooler personnel duties include moving all racks of products from one area to another to be packaged, recording sensitive information accurately, monitoring coolers/freezers, ensuring all packaging personnel have the proper product available and inventory.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturdays and/or overtime.
· Morning shift and Afternoon shift
Pie Room
· Duties include assembling of all dough products with a variety of fillings to produce pie items, weighing pastries, recording information, filling hoppers and inventory.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturdays and/or overtime.
· Morning shift only
Sausage Roll Room
· General duties include picking up sausage rolls from the line, placing dough rolls onto a line, sheeting out books of dough and inventory.
· Meat mixer duties include handling raw meat and ingredients to make filling for sausage roll room, recording sensitive information accurately, monitoring quantity of ingredients and operation an industrial meat mixer and inventory.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturdays and/or overtime.
· Morning shift only.
Kitchen
· Duties include weighing and measuring ingredients, cooking of ingredients, stocking freezer and spice room, transferring raw/cooked fillings to the pie room and recording of sensitive information accurately and inventory.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturdays and/or overtime.
· Morning shift only.
Baking
· Duties include the baking of all products produced, recording sensitive information accurately.
Dough Room
· AM shift - General duties include making lids and bases for a variety of pie products, sheeting dough and making shells, recording relevant information and inventory.
· PM shift – General duties include operating a laminating line, operating sheeters and making shells, recording relevant information and inventory.
· Dough mixers duties include obtaining all ingredients needed for dough, operating industrial dough mixers, transferring dough to operation lines, recording sensitive information accurately and inventory.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturdays and/or overtime.
· Morning and Afternoon Shifts available.
Shipping and Receiving
· Duties include operations of pallet jacks and counterbalance fork lift, loading and unloading trucks, transferring of raw and finished materials either into the facility or shipping the products out of the facility, stocking and monitoring all storage areas for proper rotation of stock, recording of sensitive information accurately and inventory.
Maintenance
· Duties include repairing and maintaining various equipment and systems. Preventative maintenance experience an asset.
· Monday to Friday, occasionally weekends and/or overtime.
