Butcher


Nossack Fine Meats - Red Deer, Alberta • Permanent Full Time Anticipated Start Date: March 1, 2021
Minimum Credentials: Completion of a college or other meat processing training program, or a three-year meat cutting apprenticeship
Experience: Previous Experience an asset
Driving Experience: Not applicable
Starting Wage: To be determined based on education and experience $21.00 - $23.00/hour
Benefits: Extended health care available The butcher is responsible for providing support in various production processes. Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Contribute to improving the overall efficiency on the raw side;
• Ensure all raw materials, ingredients, and dry goods meet our policy and quality expectations;
• Meet required production output at each work station;
• Ensure that area is kept clean and work conditions are safe;
Qualifications:
• Completion of a college or other meat processing training program, or a three-year meat cutting apprenticeship is required.




Sanitation Associate


Nossack Fine Meats - Red Deer, Alberta • Permanent Full Time Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Minimum Credentials: High School
Experience: 1-3 years in Food Processing preferred
Driving Experience: Not applicable
Starting Wage: To be determined based on experience
Benefits: Extended health care available Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Clean all equipment, walls, floors and ceiling according to the SSOP’s; • Clean grease traps, drains and sewer lines; • Ensure that equipment cleanliness and storage are completed according to the existing process; • Follow established cleaning procedures reflected in the SSOP’s; • Manually clean small tools, equipment and machinery attachments; and • Remove waste product and garbage to dumpster.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years experience in the food processing industry preferred.
