Nossack Food Group and Golden Fundraising announce their newest Nossack Athletic Ambassador Grant Recipient - local MMA Fighter Jett Grande.
RED DEER, August 31, 2021 -- Local company Nossack Food Group has selected local MMA fighter, Jett Grande as the second recipient of the Nossack Athletic Ambassador Grant, which recognizes the need in our community for increased sports funding during these more challenging economic times.
Jett "Fighter" Grande has won an IMMAF Junior Welterweight World Championship, a Pan American Championship and a Canadian Championship through his amateur career with an extraordinary record of 15-1-0. The 23-year-old Red Deer local is on a mission to be recognized as a world-class MMA champion; he made his professional debut on August 6, 2021. Jett started training at age 12 and learned strength, patience, and confidence; he values dedication, sportsmanship and integrity.
Jett's remarkable athleticism, love for his home community of Red Deer and his passion for healthy living through sport made him the distinct NAAG Candidate. Jett has volunteered with youth martial arts programs and became a youth instructor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He understands that building up and supporting others as a role model alongside teaching them skills is essential. Jett also coaches at the Dopamain Gym, a boxing program for people with Parkinson's Disease.
